Street Tree Trimming – Action Requested by September 1
Street Tree Trimming – Action Requested by September 1
Dear Bluhawk Homeowners,
As part of our ongoing efforts to maintain the beauty, safety, and long-term health of our community, Bluhawk's landscape contractor will be raising the lower canopy of all Association-owned trees in the common areas and along the perimeter streets to provide approximately 6–8 feet of clearance.
We are asking homeowners with street trees adjacent to their property to do the same by September 1, 2026.
Beginning September 1, Sentry Management will inspect homeowner street trees. If additional trimming is needed, the Association's landscape contractor will complete the work, and a $75 charge per tree will be assessed to the homeowner.
Maintaining an appropriate canopy clearance:
Promotes the long-term health and proper growth of the tree.
Provides safe clearance for pedestrians using sidewalks and walking paths.
Improves visibility for drivers, cyclists, and residents.
Enhances the overall appearance of the neighborhood.
Allows easier access for mowing, landscaping, and routine maintenance.
If you choose to complete the trimming yourself, please do so in a manner that preserves the tree's natural shape and health.
If you have any questions or would like guidance before trimming your tree, please don't hesitate to contact Sentry Management. We're happy to help. Please note that the deadline for homeowner trimming remains September 1, 2026.
Thank you for your cooperation in helping keep Bluhawk safe, beautiful, and well maintained.
