Street Tree Trimming – Action Requested by September 1

Dear BluHawk Homeowners,

To help keep our neighborhood safe and well maintained, BluHawk's landscape contractor has trimmed all Association-owned trees in the common areas and along the perimeter streets. The lower branches have been raised to provide 6–8 feet of clearance.

If you have a tree between the sidewalk and the street next to your property, please trim the lower branches to provide the same 6–8 feet of clearance by September 1, 2026.

After September 1, Sentry Management will inspect these homeowner-maintained street trees. If additional trimming is needed, the Association's landscape contractor will complete the work, and the homeowner will be charged $75 per tree.

Keeping the lower canopy trimmed helps:

  • Keep sidewalks clear and safe for pedestrians.

  • Improve visibility for drivers, cyclists, and neighbors.

  • Support the long-term health and proper growth of the tree.

  • Enhance the appearance of our neighborhood.

  • Make mowing, landscaping, and routine maintenance easier.

If you choose to trim your tree yourself, please do so in a way that preserves the tree's natural shape and health.

If you have any questions or would like guidance before trimming your tree, please contact Sentry Management. We're happy to help.

Thank you for helping keep Bluhawk safe, beautiful, and well maintained.
